Allyson Trice rejoined the women's lacrosse staff in August 2024 after previously serving as an assistant coach during the 2022-23 academic year.

A native of Syracuse, Trice spent her first four collegiate years at Syracuse University as a low post defender. Playing in 53 games for the Orange, she established herself as a dependable and gritty teammate. The 2021 Division I NCAA Championship Final against Boston College was Trice’s last game for the Orange where she was instrumental on the clear and led Orange defenders in ground balls.

Trice spent her fifth and final year with the University of Pittsburgh. As Pitt’s inaugural year in ACC Women’s lacrosse, Trice was recruited to bring ACC credibility and leadership to Pitt’s defensive unit. Serving as a team captain, she helped lead Pitt to the quarterfinals of the 2022 ACC Championships. As a roving defender, she played in all 19 games of Pitt’s 2022 inaugural campaign.

Trice currently plays on the international stage with the Haudenosaunee Nationals Team. Playing in the 2022 World Championships, she helped the team finish 3-1 in pool play and upset fifth-seeded Scotland to advance to the quarterfinals. The team won the PALA Cup in Jamaica in Fall 2023. Trice helped lead the Haudenosaunee to the bronze medal and a berth in the 2026 World Championships at the 2025 PALA World Championship Qualifier. Consistently ranked among the top 10 teams in the world, the Haudenosaunee are working to qualify for the upcoming Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028. 

A four-time ACC Academic Honor Roll member, Trice earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Syracuse’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2021 and her master’s degree in marketing science from Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business in 2022.
