Biography
2021 – Junior: Did not see any action due to limited opportunities from pandemic.
2020 – Sophomore: At Northeast 10 Conference Championships, Groshen finished 14th in the 400 IM, 1st alternate in the 200 Breaststroke and 21st in the 200 IM. In B relays, she finished11th in the 200 Medley, 12th in the 400 and 800 Freestyles and 13th in the 400 Medley. At ECAC’s, Kayla finished 9th in the 400 Freestyle and 12th in the 200 Freestyle relays.
2019 – Freshman: At Northeast 10 Conference Championships, Groshen finished 2nd alternate in the 400 IM, 19th in the 100 breaststroke and 21st in the 200 Breaststroke. In B relays, she finished 14th in the 800 Freestyle, 15th in the 200 Medley and 16th in the 400 Medley and Freestyle.
Personal: A Psychology major with a minor in Statistics and Biology and a concentration in Physical Therapy. Kayla is a Dean’s List member. Parents are David and Deborah. Brother David graduated from SUNY-Brockport.
