Schultz joined the Le Moyne Sports Medicine staff in August 2021.

Prior to coming to Le Moyne, Schultz was Athletic Trainer for Jamesville-DeWitt High school for nine years.  At JD, he was the sole Athletic Trainer responsible for all aspects of the school’s Athletic training services. Before that, he was an Athletic Trainer for Victory Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Skaneateles for six years. While there, he was the director for the company’s strength and fitness program. In his role as Director, he designed and implemented strength and fitness routines for student-athletes for improvement in athletic performance. In addition to his strength and conditioning role, he was responsible for extensive rehabilitation services both conservative and post-operatively for a variety of injuries and surgical procedures.

Schultz received his Bachelor’s of Science degree with a concentration in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in 2003 and his Masters of Science degree from Syracuse University in 2006.  Schultz is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Level II Gym Jones certified instructor.

Schultz is a certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) and registered with the New York State Department of Education. He is a member, in good standing, with the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and New York State Athletic Trainers Association (NYSATA). 

Schultz currently resides in Onondaga Hill with wife Meg and their three children Hannah (17), Leah (17) and Madelyn (17).
