As a member of the Athletic Department leadership team, Eric "EJ" MacCaull oversees game management, athletic
facility planning, game schedules and contracts, the equipment room and serves as the athletic department liaison
with the campus events office, physical plant and security. He is responsible for college work study within athletics, with a
student workforce of 40+ students.
He has been involved with some oversight of the major renovations to athletic facilities here on the Heights including
Softball Renovation (Fall 2020), Events Center/Ted Grant Court (2016/2018), Ted Grant Field turf replacement (2020)
and Dick Rockwell Field new scoreboard (2021).
MacCaull is a committee member for the Turn Around Jumpers 3 on 3 Basketball tournament for the Syracuse
Salvation Army.
MacCaull left the sidelines after spending five years as an assistant coach for the Le Moyne men’s lacrosse team.
MacCaull helped direct an offense that ranked in the top-10 nationally in scoring offense each of his five years, with
the 2006 and 2007 teams capturing the Division II National Championship. MacCaull also served as an assistant for
the 2000-2002 seasons. Prior to returning to Le Moyne in Fall 2005, MacCaull served as an assistant coach at his alma
mater, Ithaca College, for the 2004-05 academic year.
Mac Caull is a 1999 Ithaca College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Business.
While a member of the men's lacrosse team at Ithaca, MacCaull was an All-America selection as a junior and senior,
as well as team captain, MVP and Leadership Award recipient in his final collegiate season.
