WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: BRYANT BOUNCES PAST LE MOYNE

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Kelsey O'Keefe and Joanna
Skiba scored 17 points each to lead Bryant past Le Moyne 68-48 in a
Northeast-10 Conference women's basketball game at the Chace
Athletic Center. The Bulldogs (12-7, 8-6 Northeast-10) have won two
consecutive games, while Le Moyne (6-12, 2-11 Northeast-10) has
dropped six straight.
Sophomore Katie Dunn (Whippany, N.J./Holy
Family) scored 10 points to pace Le Moyne in the scoring
column. Freshman Courtney Coryea (Mooers Forks,
N.Y./Northeastern Clinton) scored nine points and grabbed
a seven rebounds. Senior guard Lindsay Carr (Bronx,
N.Y./Preston) scored six points and handed out seven
assists. Senior Lindsay Ellis (Fairport,
N.Y./Fairport) scored eight points and grabbed a team-high
eight rebounds.
O'Keefe added a game-high 13 rebounds to her 17 points for
Bryant. Skiba's 17 points came in 28 minutes off the bench. The
Bulldogs shot just 36.7% (22-for-60) from the field, but forced Le
Moyne into 28 turnovers and converted for 37 points off those
turnovers.
Bryant led 38-25 at the half and extended its lead to as many as
23 points in the second half. The Bulldogs are 7-3 at home this
season.
Le Moyne travels to meet its nearest league rival, Saint Rose,
on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
