SWIMMING & DIVING SWEEP ST. ROSE IN NORTHEAST 10 CONFERENCE ACTION

ALBANY, NY - The men's and women's swimming and diving teams captured victories on Saturday by defeating St. Rose.  The men (6-2, 1-1) were victorious by the score of 120-110, while the women (8-0, 2-0) defeated the Golden Knights 139-86.

On the women's side, Meghan Nugent captured victories in the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly.  Senior Allison Lesher collected victories in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Junior Lauren Ziemann placed first in the 100 freestyle. The Dolphins also captured first in the 200 medley relay.

Junior Ricky Chidsey and Ryan Lowrie led the way for the Dolphins by collecting four victories between the two of them. Freshman Jerry Dumary continued his strong performance earning wins in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke.

The Dolphins break for the holiday and return to action on January 20th when they travel to Alfred State.
