VESTAL, N.Y. - Four pitchers combined to shut out Binghamton on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference game on the Binghamton campus. Brandon Otto (Cicero, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) picked up his first career victory pitching four shutout innings, yielding one hit and striking out two. Freshman left-hander Michael Gedman (Framingham, MA/Loomis Chaffee) and Daniel Tunison (Bath, NY/Bath-Haverling) combined with Ryan Woods (Jacksonville, FL/Englewood) for the shutout. The Dolphins limited Binghamton to only three hits and one walk over nine innings.
Ben Gaal (Manlius, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) and Phil St. Amant (Brockport, NY/ Brockport) supplied the offense. Gaal doubled in Corey O"Neill (Pittsford, NY/ McQuaid Jesuit) in the fifth inning and St. Amant singled to center field to plate Mike Brown (Vestal, NY/ Vestal).
The victory is the ninth straight for the Dolphins who have won 15 of their last 17 games. Le Moyne returns to action this weekend as the Dolphins travel to take on Marist in a three game set.
