SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team, ranked No. 1 in the most recent USILA Division II Poll, knocked off St. Michael's, 16-5, in the Northeast-10 Conference Semifinal action at the Thomas J. Peter Pikulski cut the Dolphins' lead to six with a third quarter tally but Welch countered with his second goal of the day to push Le Moyne's lead to 11-4.

St. Michael's added a goal in the opening seconds of the fourth quarter from the stick of Charlie Niznansky but Le Moyne ended the game with a five-goal attack. Cost contributed a pair of fourth quarter goals while Alex Bily, Tom Donahue and Markus Fallico each knotted scores late in the game for the Dolphins.
