Syracuse, N.Y. – Haley Blunt and Mandy Stanislovaitis registered double-doubles to lead Adelphi University to a 3-1 win over the Le Moyne College volleyball team on Saturday afternoon in the Northeast-10 Conference opener for both teams at Ted Grant Court.
The Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the match by recording a 25-16 victory in the opening set. The Dolphins answered back with a 26-24 win in the second game to knot the match at one set apiece. Adelphi regained the lead with a 25-23 victory in the third set. The Panthers closed out the match by winning the fourth set, 25-15.

Natalie Casson (Kingman, Ariz./Kingman) registered her fourth double-double of the season with a match-best 16 kills and 10 digs, while adding three service aces. Classmate
Andrea Buchanan (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) added her fourth double-double of the campaign with 12 kills and 13 digs. Senior middle hitter
Kristen Willets (Apalachin, N.Y./Vestal) tallied a season high-tying 11 kills and had three blocks. Senior setter
Megan Maisonet (Pine Bush, N.Y./Pine Bush) posted her seventh double-double of the year with 37 assists and a season high-tying 15 digs. Sophomore libero
Annie Stoklosa (Victor, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) led the Dolphins defensively with 16 digs.
Blunt led the Panthers with 13 kills and 13 digs, while adding three blocks. Stanislovaitis registered 11 kills, 11 digs, four blocks and three service aces. Kaitlyn DeStefano tallied eight kills, 10 blocks and seven digs, while Sierra Crook recorded nine digs and three service aces.
Le Moyne (2-7, 0-1 NE-10), which has dropped five straight matches, travels to Worcester, Mass. on Tuesday to take on the Assumption Greyhounds at 5:30 p.m.
