Worcester, Mass. – Ann Donahue registered 11 kills to lead Assumption College to a 3-0 win over the Le Moyne College volleyball team on Tuesday evening in Northeast-10 Conference action at Laska Gymnasium.

The Greyhounds opened the match with a 25-7 victory in the first set, including a 12-1 run to close out the set. Assumption rallied from a 15-12 deficit in the second set en route to taking a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-20 win. After falling behind 16-12 in the third set, the Greyhounds tallied 13 of the last 15 points to close out the match with a 25-18 victory.

Sophomore outside hitter Andrea Buchanan (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) and Natalie Casson (Kingman, Ariz./Kingman) led the Dolphins with seven kills each, while Buchanan added a match-high 13 digs. Senior setter Megan Maisonet (Pine Bush, N.Y./Pine Bush) directed the Le Moyne offense with 21 assists, while posting six digs.

In addition to her match-best 11 kills, Donahue recorded three blocks and a pair of digs. Kiki Romanik dished out 28 assists and tallied six digs, while Courtney Bagwell and Stephanie Hawley had 13 and 10 digs, respectively.

Le Moyne (2-8, 0-2 NE-10) returns to action on Friday at Ted Grant Court against Pace University at 6:00 p.m.
