Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior outside hitter
Natalie Casson (Kingman, Ariz./Kingman) registered 15 kills to lead the Le Moyne College volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Assumption College on Tuesday evening in Northeast-10 Conference action at Ted Grant Court.

After the Greyhounds used a 3-1 spurt to take a 4-3 lead, the Dolphins scored four straight points and 12 of the next 13 to take a 15-5 advantage. Assumption answered back with a 10-5 run to get within five for the first of five times, but freshman outside hitter
Marguerite Dillon (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) landed a kill to end the set.
The Dolphins put the match away with a 25-16 victory in the third set. The teams went back and forth over the opening 16 points of the set, with the Dolphins holding between a two and four point edge. After Assumption closed within 9-7, Le Moyne used a pair of 3-0 runs around an Assumption point to pull away. Le Moyne's lead bounced between five and seven points before the Dolphins closed out the match with four straight points.
