Philadelphia won the opener, 13-9, while the Dolphins recorded an 8-2 win in the nightcap.

The Dolphins started the scoring in the second game of the day with one run on two hits in the first inning. Junior second baseman Brett Charbonneau (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. After freshman left fielder JT Pittman (Ashland, Mass./Ashland/Bridgton Academy) walked on four pitches to load the bases, sophomore third baseman Tyler Schmitt (West Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon) reached on a error by the first baseman, which allowed Wright and Martin to score. Pittman then scored on a double-steal attempt as Schmitt was thrown out.
