Waltham, Mass. – Junior attacker Maggie Monnat (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) scored a career-high six goals to lead the fourth-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 15-6 win over Bentley University on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action.

The Dolphins got on the scoreboard first with an unassisted goal by junior attacker Erica Geremia (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee/SUNY Cortland) just over three minutes into the game.

Amy Ernst tied the game for the Falcons six and one-half minutes later with an unassisted goal, her first of the year, with 20:22 left.

Le Moyne ran off the next five goals over 11:05 to take control. Monnat started the streak at 17:13, while senior midfielder Laura Hoffman (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) followed 41 seconds later with her 14th goal of the season. Following seven scoreless minutes, senior attacker Julia Suriani (Buffalo, N.Y./West Seneca East) tallied her 26th goal of the year. Monnat then scored twice in a span of 1:42. The first came with 7:50 left in an extra-man situation, while the second was off a pass from sophomore midfielder Amari Pollard (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) with 6:08 remaining. With the second of the back-to-back goals, Monnat became the 22nd player in the program's history to record 100 career points.

Each team scored twice over the last four minutes of the half as the Dolphins took an 8-3 lead into halftime. Kathleen Gillespie netted Bentley's second goal of the contest on a free-position shot with 3:59 left to snap a scoreless drought of 16 minutes. Geremia followed with two unassisted goals in a span of 81 seconds to make it 8-2, while Hannah Lindgren closed out the scoring in the stanza with an unassisted goal with nine seconds to go.

After Monnat and Gillespie traded goals over the first 5:33 of the second half, the Dolphins scored three straight goals for a 12-4 advantage. Sophomore midfielder Molly McGuane (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) found the back of the net with 23:11 left to start the spurt. Monnat then tickled the twine at the 20:28 mark. Hoffman capped the streak by finishing off a feed from Geremia with 13:46 remaining in the game.

Following a free-position goal with 13:14 left by Kelsey Howard, Le Moyne scored three times to take a double-digit lead.
