Briarcliff, N.Y. – Senior goalkeeper
Molly Marbut (Edgewater, Md./South River) recorded six saves as the fourth-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team registered its second all-time shutout, 17-0, over Pace University on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Pace Field.
The only previous shutout in the program's history came on April 20, 2002 in a 16-0 win at Binghamton University.
Junior attacker
Erica Geremia (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee/SUNY Cortland) led the Dolphins offensively with five goals. With her five goals, Geremia moves into a tie for fourth place on the program's single-season points list with 80, while also becoming the first player in the country to hit that plateau this season. She also moves into a tie for 11th on the program's goals list with 43. Freshman attacker
Abbie McEntee (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) recorded a season-high four goals, including two in each half. Senior attacker
Julia Suriani (Buffalo, N.Y./West Seneca East) is part of a tie for 14th place with 42 goals on the season after netting three on Saturday, while adding an assist for her 50th point.
Geremia tallied Le Moyne's first two goals of the game in a span of 10 seconds. Off a free-position attempt, Suriani found Geremia for her 39th goal of the season at the 25:31 mark. Geremia netted an unassisted marker with 25:21 left. Just under two minutes later, senior midfielder
Laura Hoffman (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) found the back of the net, while McEntee gave the Dolphins a 4-0 lead with 22:43 left.

McEntee put the Dolphins up by seven with 12:29 remaining off a pass from Hoffman, while Suriani tallied her 40th goal of the year with 10:19 left after accepting a feed from Monnat.
After eight and one-half minutes of play without a goal, Suriani scored her second straight goal off a pass from sophomore midfielder

Catie McKay (Penfield, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) registered her third goal of the year with 31 seconds left to complete the half's scoring.
As she did in the first half, Geremia started the scoring in the second half with an unassisted tally at the 26:24 mark. McEntee made the score 12-0 with 24:47 left by converting a free-position shot. Suriani completed her hat trick with 22:56 remaining with an unassisted goal. Ryan Cortese (Brewerton, N.Y./Paul V. Moore) turned away both shots she faced over the final 10:17 to preserve the shutout. Alissa Silvestri made 12 saves (against 15 goals) over 43:17 in the loss for the Setters.
Le Moyne (12-1, 9-0 NE-10), which clinched a berth in the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (Wednesday, April 29), returns home to face Franklin Pierce University on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
