Springfield, Mass. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team used a balanced attack en route to registering a 3-0 win over American International College on Tuesday night in Northeast-10 Conference action at Butova Gymnasium.
The Dolphins opened the match by taking the first set, 25-22. They doubled their lead in the match by posting a 25-11 win in the second set, which included a 10-0 run to turn a one-point lead into an 18-7 advantage. Le Moyne put the match away with a 25-20 victory in the third set, which included a 5-1 run to close out the set.

Natalie Casson (Kingman, Ariz./Kingman) led the Dolphins offensively with eight kills, while adding seven digs. Freshman right side
Jessica Miller (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville South), the reigning Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, tallied seven kills, three digs and two blocks, while sophomore middle hitter
Danica Durdines (Alta Loma, Calif./Los Osos) posted seven kills and two blocks. Sophomore setter
Kendall Corcoran (Fort Salonga, N.Y./Kings Park) directed the offense with 24 assists, while adding six digs, three service aces and three kills. Junior outside hitter
Andrea Buchanan (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) led the Dolphins defensively with 13 digs, to go along with five kills and two blocks, while freshman libero
Mikayla Porr (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) recorded 11 digs.
Lauren Pires and Natlija Dordevic led the Yellow Jackets with eight kills apiece, while Pires had two digs and Dordevic tallied two blocks. Roxana Wenger dished out 25 assists to run the AIC offense, while Mercy Rivera had 16 digs to lead her team defensively.
Le Moyne (11-3, 2-1 NE-10), which has recorded seven of its 11 victories by a 3-0 margin, returns to the court on Saturday at Pace University for a pair of matches. The Dolphins take on the Setters in an NE-10 matchup at 11:00 a.m. and then face LIU Post in non-conference action at 1:00 p.m.
