Andrew Jackson (Syracuse, N.Y./Henninger) recorded three points to lead the second-ranked Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team to an 8-4 win over The College of Saint Rose on Tuesday evening in Northeast-10 Conference action at Sullivan Field.

After the opening 45 minutes featured just five total goals, the teams combined for seven goals in the final 15 minutes. Saint Rose started the scoring in the quarter at the 11:36 mark on an unassisted goal by Tom Horan. The Dolphins answered back just 24 seconds later as junior defensive midfielder
Ryan Desmond (Fairfield, Conn./Ludlowe) netted his second goal of the year off a pass from Wilkinson. Graduate student midfielder
Matt Taylor (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius/Cornell) gave the Dolphins their first four-goal lead with 10:10 left after taking a pass from Jackson in an extra-man situation. Horan made it a three-goal game again with his seventh goal of the year with 8:20 to play. The Dolphins pushed it back to a four-goal margin with 4:32 left on an extra-man goal by Jackson, who received a pass from Jenkins. Balla countered 24 seconds later with his eighth marker of the season. Jackson completed the game's scoring with 2:14 remaining off another pass from Jenkins.
Redshirt senior goalkeeper
Alex Krawec (Kirkville, N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa/Onondaga C.C.) recorded five saves to earn his eighth victory of the season between the pipes. Liam Guiton turned away 11 shots in the loss for the Golden Knights.
Le Moyne (8-0, 4-0 NE-10), which scored its fewest goals in an NE-10 victory since a 6-3 win over the Golden Knights on April 16, 2013, is back on the field on Saturday at Franklin Pierce University at 12:00 p.m.
