DeWitt, N.Y. – Latoya Hutchinson registered 13 kills to lead Edinboro University to a 3-0 victory over the Le Moyne College volleyball team on Friday evening in non-conference action at Jamesville-DeWitt High School.
The Fighting Scots opened the match with a 25-18 win in the first set for a 1-0 lead. Edinboro increased its lead with a 25-17 win in the second set. After the teams split the first 28 points of the third set, the Fighting Scots pulled away to close out the match with a 25-21 victory.

Kendall Corcoran (Fort Salonga, N.Y./Kings Park) directed the offense with 26 assists, while adding eight digs. Sophomore libero
Mikayla Porr (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) led the defense with 17 digs.
Hutchinson hit .321 in the match en route to her match-best 13 kills, while adding a pair of block assists. Victoria Severo registered 12 kills, two service aces and two block assists. Sydney Trathen turned in 34 assists, six kills (on just nine attempts) and five digs. Megan Screptock led the defense with 21 digs, while Challen Litwiler recorded 15 digs (and eight kills) and Hannah Cantrill posted 10 digs.
Le Moyne (7-3) opens Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday against Adelphi University at 11:00 a.m. at West Genesee High School in Camillus. The Dolphins will also face non-conference foe Millersville University on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
