Syracuse, N.Y. - The Le Moyne College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were swept by Ithaca College on Friday evening at the Rev. Vincent B. Ryan, S.J. Pool in their final home meet of the semester. The men fell 158-142, while the women were defeated 178-120.
Senior
Andy Raiola (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xavier) picked up the first win of the meet for the men by touching the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.48.
Sophomore
Matthew Walton (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) claimed first place in the 100-yard freestyle by posting a time of 48.90 seconds.

Nicholas Buff (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) followed with a victory in the 200-yard backstroke by almost three seconds with a time of 2:01.61.
Senior
Travis May (Mount Kisco, N.Y./Fox Lane) registered a first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly by touching the wall in 52.43 seconds.
Junior
Matthew Wanamaker (Camillus, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy/SUNY Geneseo) won the second one-meter diving event with a score of 245.20 points.
Raiola, Walton, sophomore
Michael Dierolf (Pennsburg, Pa./Quakertown) and May closed out the meet by winning the 400-yard freestyle relay by 0.11 seconds with a time of 3:17.98.
Senior
Kelsey Smith (Binghamton, N.Y./Chenango Valley) led the women's team in the loss with three victories. She captured the 50-yard freestyle by recording a time of 24.85 seconds. In the next event, she won the 100-yard freestyle by almost one second with a time of 54.98 seconds. She earned her third victory of the night by topping her competitors in the 200-yard IM by over 3.5 seconds with a time of 2:16.64.
Sophomore
Haley Decker (Vernon, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) registered the women's team's first victory by topping the field in the 200-yard freestyle by over two and one-half seconds with a time of 2:02.76.
Senior
Annie Steve (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) was victorious in the 100-yard breaststroke by just 0.12 seconds by touching the wall in 1:12.13.
Freshman
Haley Synan (Belchertown, Mass./Belchertown) won the 200-yard butterfly by over 4.5 seconds with a time of 2:14.28.
The Dolphins are back in the pool on Saturday at Rochester Institute of Technology at 1:00 p.m.
