Russell Sangster (Rockville, Md./Bullis School) led five Dolphins in double figures as the 13th-ranked Le Moyne College men's basketball team registered a 91-82 victory over Saint Leo University on the second day of Florida Southern College's Terrace Hotel Thanksgiving Classic at Jenkins Field House on Saturday evening.
Sangster finished with a team-best 15 points, including nine in the first half. Sophomore forward
Tom Brown (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) registered nine of his 14 points in the second half, while adding a team-best four rebounds. Senior forward
Isaiah Eisendorf (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook/Gannon) recorded nine of his 13 points in the second half, while posting three assists and three rebounds. Senior guard
Tyree Chambers (Bayreuth, Germany/Graf-Münster Gymnasium/Providence) came off the bench to tally 11 points, nine of which he scored in the first half, while dishing out four assists. Senior guard
Anthony Richards (New Castle, Pa./New Castle/West Virginia Wesleyan) turned in five points in each half as the fifth Dolphin in double digits, while handing out four assists. All 10 Dolphins to play in the contest tallied at least five points and seven of them nailed a three-pointer.
Junior Searcy led the Lions in the loss with 26 points, including 13 in each half, while pulling down a game-high six rebounds. Tyreece Brice finished with 16 points (10 in the first half), five assists and four rebounds. DeAndre King tallied 14 points, all of which came in the first half, while Isaiah Hill posted 11 points, four rebounds and three assists.
After the Lions jumped out to a 7-5 lead in the first two minutes, the Dolphins answered with a 10-2 run to take the lead, which they would not relinquish. Eisendorf led four Dolphin scorers in the span with four points.
Saint Leo responded with 10 of the next 15 points to get within one (20-19) with 11:10 left in the half. Searcy scored eight of the points in the span, including five from the foul line.

Following five points from each team over the next 1:16, the Lions posted an 8-2 run to get within 37-34 with 4:48 left. The Dolphins answered with an 11-4 streak to take their largest lead of the game (48-38) with 2:21 remaining. Brown nailed a three-pointer, Chambers drained consecutive three-pointers and then junior guard
C.J. Asuncion-Byrd (Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich/St. Thomas More/Gannon) recorded a lay-up.
Saint Leo closed out the half with the final nine points to get within 48-47 at the intermission. Brice had four points, King buried a three-pointer and Hill completed the scoring with a lay-up with six seconds left.

Robert Jones III (Mansfield, Ohio/Mansfield/Northeastern College/Idaho State) drained a pair of three-pointers and Sangster made a lay-up.
Saint Leo answered with nine of the next 11 points to close within 65-63 with 10:55 to play. Searcy connected on a pair of three-pointers around a free throw by Hill and two by Jesse Huff.
Following two free throws from each team, the Dolphins rattled off seven straight points and 12 of the next 16 to regain a 10-point lead (79-69) with 5:56 left. Brown led the charge with seven points, Richards buried a three-pointer and Asuncion-Byrd made a lay-up.
Le Moyne's lead was either eight or 10 over the next 5:13 and either seven or nine over the final 26 seconds of the contest.
Le Moyne (6-1), which scored its most points since posting 97 in overtime at Saint Rose on November 23, 2013 and its most points in regulation since a 97-81 victory at then-C.W. Post (now LIU Post) on December 19, 2011, returns to Northeast-10 Conference play at home on Wednesday against The College of Saint Rose at 7:00 p.m.
