Boston, Mass. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's track teams each recorded their highest points totals at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships on Saturday afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Center.
The women placed 11th with a program-best 14 points, while the men scored a program-record eight points to also place 11th.
The quartet of junior
Meg Hubregsen (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima), freshman
Jordan Sloan (Central Square, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) and sophomores
Rachael Miller (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) and
Bethia Nivens (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) registered the program's best-ever Championship finish by placing third in the 4x400-meter relay in a program-record 4:03.65. The foursome set the previous best time of 4:07.18 at Colgate last week.
Miller also earned five points individually by completing the 800-meter run fourth in a program-best time of 2:22.03. The previous top mark of 2:25.44 was set by classmate
Brittney Mack (Poestenkill, N.Y./Averill Park) at Colgate last Saturday.
Mack scored in a pair of events to earn three points. She recorded a seventh-place finish in the 1000-meter run in a program-record 3:05.79 to earn two points. The time eclipses the previous top time of 3:07.92, which she set two weeks ago at Ithaca. In the one-mile run, she picked up one point by placing eighth in 5:23.26, the second-fastest time in the program's history.
Nivens tallied the second-best time in the program's history in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.29 to place 12th.
Junior
Sean Beney (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) was the men's team's top scorer by earning five points with a program-best fourth-place finish in the 5000-meter run with a program-record time of 15:12.28. The time is 7.14 seconds faster than his previous best time of 15:19.42 set at Ithaca two weeks ago.
Freshman
Chris Davitt (Delmar, N.Y./Shenendehowa) registered a sixth-place finish in the one-mile run to earn three points. He covered the distance in a program-best 4:20.93, which is 4.01 seconds faster than his previous best time at Ithaca. He also placed ninth in the 1000-meter run in a program-best time of 2:36.68, which is 1.02 seconds faster than his time at Ithaca.

Mahamadou Jagana (Bronx, N.Y./DeWitt Clinton),
Griffin Klein (Fair Haven, N.Y./Red Creek) and
Hamza Elhabbal (Fayetteville, N.Y./Fayetteville) tallied the program's fastest time in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 8:20.00 to place ninth. Jagana anchored the 4x400-meter relay team of juniors
Elliot Hernandez (Boonville, N.Y./Adirondack) and
Kevin O'Connor (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) and freshman
Dom Battaglia (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) to place 10th in a program-best 3:37.25.
Junior
Matthew Civilette (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) landed in 11th place in the triple jump with a distance of 42-feet, 8.75-inches.
The Dolphins open the outdoor season at the Muhlenberg University on Saturday, April 1.
