Syracuse, N.Y. – Matthew Frisa (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) has been named to the College Sports Communicator (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field Team.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To achieve CSC Academic All-District honors, a track & field student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and a top-50 ranking in an individual single event.

Frisa just completed his senior season with the Dolphins, and recently graduated from Le Moyne with a bachelor of arts in Psychology.

At the Northeast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in May, Frisa qualified for the finals of the 400m hurdles where he placed 6th overall after posting a time of 57.20.

During his time on the Heights, Frisa was also a member of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC). He was the recipient of the Distinguished Military Graduate Award and is commissioning as a second Lieutenant in Logistics.

Frisa received the Leadership & Service Award at the Le Moyne College Athletics Department annual Student-Athlete Awards Ceremony in May due to his commitment to the community and Le Moyne's ideals of leadership and service.
