VINCENT AND LOCCI EARN 1ST PLACE FINISHES AT THE CARDINAL CLASSIC

Rochester, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams competed at the Cardinal Classic hosted by St. John Fisher on Saturday. The Dolphins earned a pair of 1st place finishes after junior Rosalie Vincent (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) and sophomore Jacey Locci (Stillwater, N.Y./Stillwater) led the way in the women's 200m and high jump events.
 
To continue on the women's side, freshman Alexis Vincent (Wynantskill, N.Y./Averill Park) placed 3rd overall in the 100m, running a time of 12.62. She also competed in the 200m, placing 5th overall after clocking in with a time of 26.52. Rosalie took home 1st place after running a time of 25.50. Sophomore Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor/Monmouth) placed 11th overall after running a time of 27.24, setting a personal best.
 
Gonzalez-Rivera also competed in the 400m, placing 3rd overall after running a time of 59.79, another personal best for Jasmin. Freshman Emma Bohall (Schenectady, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) placed 9th overall, running a time of 1:04.51. Sophomore Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) placed 5th overall in the 1500m, clocking in with a time of 4:51.75. Junior Mackenzie Ples (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) placed 9th overall and running a time of 5:05.22.
 
Junior Amanda Lowenguth (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) competed in the 400m hurdles, placing 5th overall after setting a personal best with a time of 1:09.12. Sophomore Lilly Gilles (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport) also competed in the 400m hurdles, placing 14th overall after running a time of 1:14.01. Sophomore Jacey Locci (Stillwater, N.Y./Stillwater) and senior Lilly Capria (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) placed in the top-2 spots of the high jump event, as Locci placed 1st overall with a mark of 1.58m/5'-2.25", and Capria placing 2nd overall with a mark of 1.55m/5'-1".
 
Capria also placed 2nd overall in the long jump event after earning a distance of 5.30m/17'-4.75". Redshirt junior Alayna Bush (Adams, N.Y./South Jefferson) placed 5th overall in the javelin throw, earning a mark of 24.59m/80'-8" to round out the top-15 finishers of the day for the 'Phins.
 
On the men's side, freshman Andrew Shupe (Easton, Pa./Notre Dame Green Pond) earned the best individual finish on the day, placing 2nd overall in the 100m after running a time of 11.25. Senior Jordan Johnson (Plainfield, N.J./Timothy Christian School) placed 12th overall in the 200m, clocking in with a time of 23.60. Junior Skylar Gravell (Malone, N.Y./Franklin Academy) placed 14th overall after running a time of 23.72.
 
Gravell also competed in the 400m, placing 4th overall after running a time of 52.10. Freshman Owen Mulholland (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) placed 3rd overall after clocking in with a time of 51.56. Sophomore Maltrin Ramadani (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) placed 10th overall, running a time of 54.75. In the 1500m, junior Mike Purvis (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) placed 10th overall after finishing with a time of 4:09.52.
 
Sophomore Carter DeRosa (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) placed 9th overall in the long jump event, earning a distance of 5.60m/18'-4.5". Junior Trevon Walker (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) placed 15th overall after earning a mark of 3.51m/11'-6.25". DeRosa also competed in the triple jump event, placing 6th overall after earning a distance of 12.17m/39'-11.25".
 
Senior Adam Cuyler (Phoenix, N.Y./C.W.Baker) placed 4th overall in the shot put after earning a distance of 13.45m/44'-1.5". Freshman Luca Cavallo (Valhalla, N.Y./Valhalla) placed 10th overall in the discus throw after earning a mark of 33.40m/109'-7". Junior Joseph Doran (Camden, N.Y./Camden) placed 12th overall in the hammer throw event after throwing a distance of 41.91m/137'-6". Sophomore Robbert Taddeo (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton) placed 5th overall in the javelin throw after earning a mark of 41.50m/136'-2". Freshman Mace Barnes (San Marcos, Calif./Loyola) placed just behind Taddeo, finishing 6th overall after earning a distance of 39.21m/128'-7" to round out the top-15 for the 'Phins.
 
The Dolphins wrapped up their 2026 outdoor campaign today, as they are set to begin the 2026 NEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, May 3rd.
