Pleasantville, N.Y. – Kirsten Dodge registered double-double to lead Pace University to a 63-58 come-from-behind win over the Le Moyne College women's basketball team on Tuesday evening in Northeast-10 Conference action at the Goldstein Fitness Center.

Junior forward Joanna Dobrovosky (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) led the Dolphins in the loss with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds, including 13 points and eight rebounds in the first half. Senior guard Ailayia Demand (Watervliet, N.Y./Watervliet) and junior forward Nicole Riddick (Albany, N.Y./Colonie/UMass Lowell) each recorded 12 points.

Dodge led all players with 20 points and 15 rebounds, including 13 points and 11 rebounds in the first half. Alexandra Monteleone tallied 16 points and nine rebounds, while Stefanie Svoboda turned in 13 points and seven rebounds.

After Svoboda made a jumper to get the Setters within 5-4 just over three minutes into the game, the Dolphins tallied 18 of the next 25 points to take a 23-11 lead after the first quarter. Freshman guard McKayla Roberts (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) scored five of the points (her only points of the game), Dobrovosky posted four and four other Dolphins combined for the remaining nine points.

The teams traded runs in the second quarter as the Setters were able to chip one point off their deficit prior to halftime. Following a Dobrovosky basket to put the Dolphins up 25-12, the Setters got baskets from three different players to pull within seven with 6:54 left in the half. The Dolphins answered with nine straight points. Dobrovosky scored five of the points, while Riddick and Demand each made lay-ups. Pace, specifically Dodge, closed out the half's scoring with the final five points.

The Dolphins opened the second half with an 8-1 run to take their largest lead of the game, 42-24. Riddick scored five of the points, while Demand added a three-pointer.

The Setters responded with 17 of the next 19 points, including 14 straight on the backend, to pull within three with 1:05 left in the quarter. Jaclyn Oskam started the run with a three-pointer, Dodge made two free throws, Svoboda scored five points and Monteleone registered seven points.

Freshman guard Liz Millea (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown) drained a three-pointer to end the run and give the Dolphins a 47-41 lead after 30 minutes.

Pace scored the first 15 points of the fourth quarter to take a nine-point lead with 5:24 to play. Monteleone scored five of the points, Dodge scored four and Svoboda and Christina Rubin each drained three-pointers.

Le Moyne answered with seven straight points to get back within two with 3:58 to play. Junior guard Ellie Leszyk (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) made three free throws, Riddick converted a lay-u and then Leszyk made a jumper in the paint.

Svoboda drilled a three-pointer with 2:32 left to put the Setters up five, but Dobrovosky answered with a jumper 26 seconds later. After Monteleone lay-up pushed the lead back to five with 1:50 remaining, Leszyk converted two foul shots with 58 seconds to play.

The Dolphins got off three three-pointers in the final 20 seconds, but could not get one to fall. Rubin closed out the game's scoring with two free throws with 0.2 seconds left.
