Vicki Graveline (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) recorded four points to lead the third-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 12-6 win over 18th-ranked Bentley University on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Ted Grant Field.
Bentley opened the game's scoring four and one-half minutes into the contest on an unassisted tally by Ellie Shuman.
The Dolphins answered with seven straight goals to take control of the game. Senior midfielder
Molly McGuane (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) started the run with her third goal of the season at the 19:55 mark off a pass from Graveline. Just 35 seconds later, Graveline netted her first goal of the contest. Graveline followed with another unassisted goal with 18:45 left in the first half. McGuane then put the Dolphins up 4-1 with 17:35 remaining with her second goal of the day. Sophomore attacker
Maddie Knapp (Watertown, N.Y./South Jefferson) followed by converting a free-position shot with 16:43 to go for her fourth tally of the year. Just over one minute later, freshman midfielder
Nicole Delany (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) registered an unassisted goal for her second tally of the campaign. Senior attacker
Alexis Garbarino (Endwell, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) completed the run with her third marker of the year with 12:54 left in the half after taking a pass from freshman attacker

The Falcons snapped their scoring drought of 21:41 as Kathleen Gillespie found the back of the net with 3:44 remaining in the half.
Le Moyne scored the final two goals of the half to take a 9-2 lead into the intermission. Just 19 seconds after Bentley scored, freshman attacker
Claire Herrmann (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) registered her first career goal off a pass from Hall. Herrmann capped the scoring in the half with an unassisted goal with 28 seconds left.
Only 69 seconds into the second half, Delany put the Dolphins up 10-2 off a feed from Knapp.
Bentley rattled off the next four goals to cut its deficit in half. Ciara Morley started the run at the 22:19 mark with an unassisted tally. Just under one and one-half minutes later, MaryKate Staines scored her first goal of the season from the right side of the crease. Hannah Lindgren followed with an unassisted tally with 19:03 to play. Morley then recorded a behind-the-back goal after taking a pass from Melissa Makarius with 14:27 left, but that would mark Bentley's last goal of the game.
The Dolphins scored the final two goals of the contest to deliver the final score. Sophomore defender
Monica Sanna (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford) gave the Dolphins an 11-6 lead with 12:52 to play off a feed from McGuane. Graveline finished off the game's scoring with her ninth goal of the year with 1:02 left.
Freshman goalkeeper
Hannah George (Johnson City, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) registered 11 saves, including six in the first half, to earn her fourth victory of the season between the pipes. Lauren Ochs turned away nine shots, including five after halftime, in the loss for the Falcons.
Le Moyne (4-0, 1-0 NE10) is back in action on Tuesday hosting American International College at 3:00 p.m.
