THIRD-RANKED WOMEN’S LACROSSE REGISTERS 17-6 WIN OVER SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE

Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior attacker Jacqueline Pardee (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) recorded a career-best seven points to lead the third-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 17-6 win over Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday in Northeast-10 Conference action at Ted Grant Field.

The Dolphins opened the game with two goals in the first 69 seconds. Freshman attacker Sidney Hall (Adams Center, N.Y./South Jefferson) started the scoring 53 seconds into the game with her sixth goal of the year. Freshman midfielder Nicole Delany (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) followed 16 seconds later with her fifth goal of the season after taking a pass from sophomore attacker Maddie Knapp (Watertown, N.Y./South Jefferson).

The Penmen answered back with a pair of goals off free-position shots. Kristin Wilder, last year's NE10 Rookie of the Year, got her team on the scoreboard at the 27:45 mark by converting a free-position shot. She tallied her 27th goal of the year the same way 3:04 later.

Le Moyne responded with seven straight goals over 12 and one-half minutes to take control of the game. Hall ignited the run with an unassisted goal with 23:39 remaining in the first half. Just 20 seconds later, Knapp fed Delany again for a 4-2 lead. Just over three minutes later, senior attacker Alexis Garbarino (Endwell, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) tallied her eighth goal of the season after taking a feed from senior midfielder Vicki Graveline (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee). Knapp found the back of the net for the sixth time with 16:45 remaining after collecting a pass from Garbarino. Pardee then scored three times over 4:25 to give the Dolphins a 9-2 lead. She scored at 14:34 off a pass in transition from freshman midfielder Olivia McEntee (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia). She then finished off a pass from Hall with 12:42 left and capped the run with an unassisted goal with 10:09 to go in the half.

Wilder ended Le Moyne's run with 9:43 left after taking a pass from Alexa Bedell.

Senior midfielder Molly McGuane (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) pushed the lead back to seven with 7:07 remaining by converting a free-position shot. Pardee extended the lead to eight for the first time with 4:13 left off a feed from Graveline.

The Penmen tallied the final two goals of the half to get within 11-5 at halftime. Wilder netted her conference-leading 29th goal of the season with 3:44 left. Kennedy Daziel then finished off a pass from Bedell with 2:27 left to complete the half's scoring.

Le Moyne scored the first six goals of the second half to double their halftime advantage. In an extra-player situation carried over from the first half, Garbarino picked up her second goal of the day after receiving a pass from Pardee with 29:19 remaining in the game. Just over four minutes later, Pardee netted her fifth goal of the game off a feed from Knapp, her career-best third helper of the contest. In transition after a Southern New Hampshire turnover, Hall tallied her third goal of the game with 23:30 left. McGuane pushed the lead to double-digits with an unassisted marker with 18:11 to play. Delany followed with a free-position goal with 13:28 remaining and freshman attacker Anna Mazurkiewicz (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) completed the Dolphins' scoring with 7:28 left off a pass from Pardee.
