Gabe Levanti (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker/Northeastern) had three hits and drove in three runs to lead the Le Moyne College baseball team to a 10-1 win over The College of Saint Rose in Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division action on Wednesday afternoon at Dick Rockwell Field.

Saint Rose answered with one run in the top of the fifth. Designated hitter Kenny Fils-Aime drew a walk with two outs, moved to second on a single through the right side by second baseman Andrew Pedone and took third on a throwing error by the catcher on a pickoff attempt at first base. Fils-Aime then raced home on a wild pitch.
Le Moyne tallied five runs in the bottom of the fifth on four hits. After an out to start the frame, Place and Pittman drew walks and moved up a base on a wild pitch. Levanti then singled to center to plate Place and Pittman. Gray followed with a single through the left side to knock in Levanti and force a pitching change. Chase Borowitz (South Salem, N.Y./John Jay) improved to 3-1 on the season after striking out six over seven innings, while yielding just an unearned run and four hits. Gray joined Levanti in posting multiple hits, while Pittman also had three RBI. Steven Burke suffered the loss after giving up five runs over three and one-third innings.
Le Moyne (25-12, 12-4 NE10, 9-3 SW), which is ranked fifth in the first NCAA East Region rankings of the year, returns to action on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the University of New Haven, which is ranked eighth in the East Region, which is the first spot out of the expected field.
