West Haven, Conn. – David Palmer tossed eight scoreless innings to lead the University of New Haven to a 4-1 win over the Le Moyne College baseball team in Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division action on Saturday afternoon at Vieira Field.
New Haven scored the only runs it would need in the first inning with two runs on one hit and one Le Moyne error.

Josiah Gray (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) singled to center field to drive in Spinoso from third.
Senior righty
Damian Powers (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville South) had his streak of four straight wins snapped after yielding four runs (three earned) over eight innings, while striking out eight. Palmer improved to 6-0 on the season after striking out seven, while allowing just four hits.
Le Moyne (25-13, 12-5 NE10, 9-4 SW) and New Haven complete their three-game series with a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 12:00 p.m.
