Syracuse, N.Y. – Senior forward
Nicole Riddick (Albany, N.Y./Colonie/UMass Lowell) registered a double-double to lead the Le Moyne College women's basketball team to a 74-41 victory over Merrimack College in Northeast-10 Conference play on Saturday afternoon at Ted Grant Court.
Riddick tallied team highs of 12 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Senior forward
Courtney Webster (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) turned in 12 points, while classmate
Joanna Dobrovosky (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) tallied 10 second-half points and pulled down six rebounds. Sophomore guard
McKayla Roberts (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) flirted with a triple-double with 10 points, eight rebounds and seven rebounds in 31 minutes of action, her second-lowest total of the season.
Mayson Kimball led all scorers in the contest with 20 points, 12 of which she scored in the second half, while adding four assists and three rebounds. Alyssa Casey posted 11 points and three rebounds in 22 minutes before fouling out in the third quarter.
The teams went back and forth in the opening quarter with neither team taking more than a five-point lead before settling at 15-12 in favor of the Dolphins after 10 minutes. Roberts led the Dolphins in the quarter with five points, while four others combined for 10 points.
Merrimack scored nine of the first 14 points of the second quarter to take its final lead of the game, 21-20, with 6:06 left in the half. Kimball had the first three points, Casey scored four straight and Emily Houle put the Warriors in front with a lay-up.
Le Moyne took control of the game with 11 straight points and 16 of the next 18. Junior guard

Gabriella Badway (Pittsburg, Pa./Fox Chapel) drained her first career three-pointer and then Riddick buried a pair of three-pointers around a jumper by senior forward
Corinne Poitevien (Bardonia, N.Y./Paramus Catholic (N.J.)).
Karlee Alves made a lay-up with eight seconds left to get the Warriors within 36-25 at halftime.
The Dolphins blew the game open by outscoring the Warriors in the third quarter, 23-6. Dobrovosky (6) and Webster (8) combined for the first 14 points, while the final nine points were scored by four players.
Le Moyne scored the first six points of the fourth quarter to take its largest lead of the game, 65-31, with 6:37 to play.
Merrimack got within 30 on a pair of occasions, but the Dolphins scored five of the last seven points of the game. Freshman forward
Madison Shetrom (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) recorded a conventional three-point play and then senior guard
Ellie Leszyk (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) completed the game's scoring with a lay-up.
Le Moyne (10-6, 6-4 NE10), which registered its largest margin of victory against a Northeast Division opponent in the eight years of the divisional format, is back on the hardwood on Wednesday at Stonehill College at 5:30 p.m.
