Colchester, Vt. – The Le Moyne College women's basketball team allowed its fewest points in a Northeast-10 Conference road game in seven years en route to a 61-38 victory over Saint Michael's College on Tuesday afternoon at the Ross Sports Center.
Senior forward
Nicole Riddick (Albany, N.Y./Colonie/UMass Lowell) led three Dolphins in double figures with 18 points, 11 of which came in the second half, while adding five rebounds. Sophomore guard
McKayla Roberts (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) turned in 17 points (10 in the first half), eight assists, four rebounds and three steals. Senior forward
Courtney Webster (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) posted 10 points, a game-best eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals.
Samantha Delaney was the only player from Saint Michael's to score in double digits with 12 points, seven of which came in the first half.
Following five straight points from Saint Michael's to get within 10-9 with 5:40 left in the first quarter, Riddick and Roberts nailed three-pointers for a seven-point margin. Delaney made two free throws to close out the scoring in the first quarter as the Dolphins held a 16-11 lead after 10 minutes.
Le Moyne scored the first 11 points of the second quarter to take control of the game. Riddick started the scoring with a lay-up, Roberts followed with five points and Webster capped the streak with four points for a 27-11 advantage.
The teams split the final eight points as the Dolphins took a 31-15 lead into halftime.

Joanna Dobrovosky (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) made a lay-up and Roberts followed with a pull-up jumper.
The teams then traded baskets over the next seven minutes as Le Moyne's lead bounced between 16 and 20 points. Delaney then snapped a two-minute scoring drought with a free throw to get the Purple Knights within 45-26 after three quarters.
After Webster started the scoring in the fourth quarter, the Purple Knights scored eight of the next 10 points to get within 15 with 6:00 to play. Brianna Purcell scored four of the points for Saint Michael's.
Le Moyne answered with 10 consecutive points to put the game away. Riddick scored the first five points, senior guard
Ellie Leszyk (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) made a fast-break lay-up off a steal and then Roberts drained a three-pointer for a 59-34 lead with 2:33 left.
Purcell and Casey Evans made shots around two free throws by Riddick to complete the game's scoring.
Le Moyne (12-7, 8-5 NE10), which has won eight of its last 10 games, concludes cross-divisional play on Saturday at Assumption College at 1:30 p.m.
