Syracuse, N.Y. – Senior forward
Joanna Dobrovosky (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) recorded a double-double to lead the Le Moyne College women's basketball team to a 68-60 victory over Adelphi University in Northeast-10 Conference action on Wednesday evening at Ted Grant Court.
Dobrovosky registered team-highs of 16 points and 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season, while adding four blocked shots. Sophomore guard
McKayla Roberts (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) tallied 15 points, including 11 straight to end the third quarter and start the fourth quarter, while dishing out four assists and posting three steals. Senior forward
Courtney Webster (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) just missed a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds, including 10 points and seven rebounds in the first half. Senior forward
Nicole Riddick (Albany, N.Y./Colonie/UMass Lowell) was the fourth Dolphin in double figures with 11 points, while grabbing seven rebounds.
Le Moyne (14-7, 10-5 NE10), which is five games over .500 in NE10 play for the first time since the 2001-02 season, returns to action on Saturday at American International College at 1:30 p.m.
