Manchester, N.H. – Elise Jolly led three Hawks with double-digit kills as Saint Anselm College recorded a 3-0 victory over the Le Moyne College volleyball team in Northeast-10 Conference action at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium.
The Hawks opened the match with the first three points and steadily increased their lead en route to a 25-16 win in the first set. Saint Anselm tallied the first four points of the second set, but the Dolphins responded with nine of the next 13 points to take a 9-8 lead. The Hawks regained the lead with six straight points and later closed out the set with the final four points for a 25-18 win. The Dolphins jumped out to a 9-6 lead in the third set, but Saint Anselm responded with seven straight points to take control of the set, which the Hawks would go on to win 25-17.

Jessica Miller (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville South) led the Dolphins offensively in the setback with 10 kills, five of which came in the opening set. Sophomore setter
Emily Yancone (Rochester, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) dished out 23 assists and posted eight digs. Senior libero
Mikayla Porr (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) led the Dolphins defensively with nine digs.
Jolly hit .433 en route to her 15 kills, seven of which came in the third set, while adding eight digs. Catie McCarthy recorded a double-double of 12 kills, including four in each set, and 14 digs. Sarah Lowery also had 12 kills, including six in the second set. Jewel Hays registered a double-double also with 42 assists and 12 digs.
Le Moyne (9-8, 1-6 NE10), which had its 14-match win streak over the Hawks snapped (last lost on October 5, 2003), is back on the court on Saturday at Saint Michael's College at 1:00 p.m.
