Worcester, Mass. – The Le Moyne College women's swimming team split a pair of dual meets on Saturday afternoon at Assumption College. The Dolphins defeated Merrimack College, 149-113, but fell to the host Greyhounds, 198-64.
Junior
Haley Decker (Vernon, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) registered the team's first win of the day with a time of 2:02.85 in the 200-yard freestyle. She finished third in the 100-yard butterfly by touching the wall in 1:02.56.
Sophomore
Haley Synan (Belchertown, Mass./Belchertown) tallied a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly by over three seconds with a time of 2:12.16. She added a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:29.42. She also placed second in the 200-yard IM in 2:19.36.
Freshman
Vicki Silaika (Rexford, N.Y./Shenendehowa) helped the Dolphins against Merrimack by placing fourth in the 1000-yard freestyle in 11:32.84.
Freshman
Jordyn Sommo (Guilderland, N.Y./Guilderland) registered a third-place finish in 2:17.56 in the 200-yard backstroke.
Freshman
Kayla Groshen (Forest Hills, N.Y./St. Francis Prep) topped Merrimack in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:42.83.

Claire Rejman (Scipio Center, N.Y./Southern Cayuga) recorded a second-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle in 3:49.53.
