Corinne Poitevien (Bardonia, N.Y./Paramus Catholic (N.J.)) registered a double-double to lead the Le Moyne College women's basketball team to a 73-38 victory over Pace University in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Ted Grant Court.
Poitevien's second career double-double consisted of 17 points and a career-high 15 rebounds, including seven points and six rebounds in the second quarter. Freshman guard
Cameron Tooley (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) posted 12 points, including five in the first quarter, and five steals. Classmate
Jenna Zimmerman (Adams, N.Y./South Jefferson) turned in 11 points and nine rebounds, four of which came in the fourth quarter. Junior guard
McKayla Roberts (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) recorded 10 points, including eight in the third quarter, seven rebounds, including six in the third quarter, and six assists, including five in the second quarter, in just three quarters of play.
Lauren Schetter led the Setters in the loss with nine points, while Stefanie Svoboda posted seven points off the bench.
After the only tie of the game at two, the Dolphins scored five straight points. Tooley put the team in front with a three-pointer and Poitevien followed with two free throws.
Svoboda made a three-pointer to get the Setters within 11-9 with 4:18 left in the quarter, but the Dolphins scored the final four points of the quarter. Freshman guard

Gabriella Badway (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) each made shots in the paint.
After a jumper by Alexandra Monteleone to get Pace within 21-14 with 6:01 left in the second quarter, the Dolphins rattled off the final 13 points of the half to take a 34-14 lead into the intermission. Poitevien and Zimmerman each scored five points in the streak, while Tooley drained a three-pointer. Roberts assisted on four of the five baskets in the span.
Pace scored the first five points of the third quarter to get within 34-19 with 6:45 left, but the Dolphins countered with nine straight points. Fouracre, Zimmerman and Poitevien each scored in the paint before Roberts buried a three-pointer with 4:11 left.
The teams traded points over the remainder of the period with Le Moyne's lead bouncing between 22 and 24 points before Roberts ended the quarter with a three-pointer for a 52-27 lead after 30 minutes of play.
Following back-and-forth play over the opening 4:12 of the fourth quarter, the Dolphins closed out the game with 14 of the last 17 points. Fouracre and redshirt sophomore guard
Liz Millea (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown) each scored four points in the stretch, while three others also scored.
Le Moyne (5-2, 3-2 NE10), which dropped the previous three meetings with the Setters, including last year's two by over 20 points each, visits Mansfield University on Wednesday for a non-conference contest at 6:00 p.m.
