Devin Andrews (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy/Stony Brook) each had three goals and three assists to lead the top-ranked Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team to a 17-8 win over The College of Saint Rose on Wednesday evening in Northeast-10 Conference action at Sullivan Field.
Saint Rose scored the game's first two goals over the opening 2:05. Carter Badour netted his 23rd goal of the season 1:24 into the contest and followed with his second of the game just 41 seconds later.
The Dolphins answered with the final five goals of the opening quarter. Freshman midfielder
Kaiden Tubbert (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn/Bridgton Academy), who made his first career start, opened the run with his third goal of the campaign just 33 seconds after Badour's second goal. Senior attackman
Greg White (Buffalo, N.Y./Nichols School) tied the score at two with 10:57 left after taking a pass in an extra-man situation from senior attackman
Justin Kesselring (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport). Entenmann put the Dolphins in front with an unassisted goal with 3:31 remaining in the quarter. Sophomore midfielder
Riley Larson (Fairfield, Conn./Ludlowe) scored in an extra-man opportunity with 46 seconds left after taking a pass from Entenmann. Kesselring capped the quarter's scoring with five seconds left.
Following nine and one-half minutes of scoreless action to start the second quarter, John Loughlin snapped Le Moyne's five-goal run with his fifth goal of the year.
The Dolphins countered with a pair of goals in 10 seconds to extend their lead to four for the first time. Kesselring found the back of the net at the 3:46 mark after collecting a pass from Andrews. Redshirt senior faceoff specialist
Kendall Vecchio (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown/Johns Hopkins) won the ensuing faceoff and raced in to score his second goal of the season.
Kyle Meoli got the Golden Knights within 7-4 with 1:41 to go off a feed from Matt Graham.
Larson completed the scoring in the first half with another extra-man goal with 32 seconds remaining off another pass from Entenmann.
The Dolphins scored the first two goals of the third quarter to get into double digits. Andrews scored his 18th goal of the season with 10:21 left and then fed Kesselring for his team-best 30th goal of the year with 4:21 remaining in the quarter.
The Golden Knights scored twice around a Le Moyne goal over the last four minutes of the quarter. Jack Pemrick tallied his fifth goal of the year with 3:45 to go. After sophomore midfielder
Matt Hutchings (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) netted his 14th goal with 1:54 remaining, Badour capped off the period's scoring with an unassisted goal with five seconds left.
Graham got Saint Rose within 11-7 by scoring 16 seconds into the fourth quarter.
Entenmann pushed Le Moyne's lead back to five 36 seconds later off a pass from Andrews, but Pemrick answered at the 10:07 mark to get the Golden Knights within four for the final time.

Hans Zimmer (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) started the streak with his sixth goal of the year with 8:50 remaining. Entenmann followed with his 11th goal of the campaign with 6:41 to play and then fed Andrews for his 19th goal with 4:07 left. Ross Filtch (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus/Siena) registered the game's final goal with his 12th of the year with 1:18 left after taking a pass from Kesselring. The assist gives Kesselring 50 points on the season, which ties his career high set last season. He is the first Dolphin in at least 16 seasons to reach the 50-point plateau in the team's first 11 games.

Jack Sweeney (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Onondaga C.C.) made five saves (against four goals) in the first half to earn the win between the pipes. Liam Guiton tallied 11 saves in the loss for the Golden Knights.
Le Moyne (11-0, 7-0 NE10) returns home to face fourth-ranked Adelphi University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
