Bryanna Fazio (Watertown, N.Y./General Brown) scored a career-high seven goals to lead the third-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 17-8 victory over 19th-ranked Bentley University in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.
Following six and one-half minutes of scoreless action to start the game, the Falcons netted the first goal as Claire Thompson converted a free-position shot for her seventh goal of the year.
Le Moyne answered with five consecutive goals over a span of 2:51 to take the lead. Sophomore midfielder
Nicole Delany (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) started the streak with her 47th goal of the year with 21:50 left in the half. Just 37 seconds later, Fazio tallied her 45th goal of the campaign. Another 27 seconds later, sophomore attacker

Madison Pritchard (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee/Onondaga C.C./Canisius) pushed the lead to 4-1 with her eighth goal with 19:57 remaining. Hall capped the spurt at the 18:59 mark with an unassisted tally.
Bentley answered with three goals over 4:39 to get back within one. Ciara Morley recorded her 11th goal with 15:12 left off a rebound. Kathleen Gillespie made it 5-3 with her 18th goal with 13:28 to go in the half. Thompson made it a one-goal game with another free-position goal with 10:33 left.
The Dolphins extended their lead back to four with the final three goals of the half. Just before the possession clock expired, Fazio slipped a shot into the back of the net with 9:02 remaining off a feed from Hall. Senior attacker
Jacqueline Pardee (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) netted her fifth marker of the year with 7:46 to play after collecting a feed from freshman attacker
Erin McMullen (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill). Fazio ended the half's scoring with 3:15 left after receiving a pass from McMullen.
As they did in the first half, the Falcons scored the first goal of the second half as Carolyn Cruise tallied her 15th goal of the year 49 seconds into the period.
McMullen answered back 42 seconds later off a feed from Fazio, who followed with her fourth goal of the day 33 seconds later.
Bentley got within four for the final time with 27:31 remaining as Cara McCarthy scored off a pass from Cruise.
McMullen extended the lead back to five with an extra-player goal with 22:08 left in the contest. Fazio made it 12-6 with her program record-tying seventh career extra-player goal with 17:18 remaining after taking a feed from junior midfielder

MaryKate Staines got the Falcons within 12-7 with 11:37 left with her 20th goal of the year.

Brittney Pollack (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) netted her fourth goal of the year with 8:24 left off a pass from McMullen. With the assist, McMullen became the third freshman in the program's history (joining Fazio and
Maggie Monnat '16) to dish out 20 assists in a season. Fazio followed 1:16 later with her 50th goal of the year, making her just the third player in the program's history to have multiple 50-goal seasons (joining Brittany Brigandi '12 and
Erica Geremia '16). Hall capped the initial burst with her 38th goal 22 seconds later. Fazio extended the lead to 16-7 with 4:16 to go after receiving a pass from McMullen.
Following a foul on the ensuing draw, Julia Glavin raced in to score her 36th goal of the year with 4:01 to play.

Claire Herrmann (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) finished off the game's scoring with her fifth goal of the year with 1:24 remaining.

Hannah George (Johnson City, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) registered five saves in each half to earn her 31st straight regular season victory. Eliza Bresler tallied 16 saves, including nine in the first half, in the setback.

Kelly Gaffney (Florham Park, N.J./Mount Saint Dominic Academy) and
Abbie McEntee (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) prior to the game, returns to the field on Wednesday at top-ranked Adelphi University at 6:00 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ESPN3 and the winner of the contest will be the top seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Championships, while the other will be the second seed.
