Brian O'Mara (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) knocked in a pair of runs to lead the 11th-ranked Le Moyne College baseball team to a 6-2 win over Southern Connecticut State University in Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division action on Sunday afternoon at The Ballpark at SCSU.

Ben Walsh (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) singled to left center and junior left fielder
David DiNorcia (Naples, Fla./Seacrest Country Day) walked to load the bases. After an out, O'Mara singled up the middle to drive in Place and Walsh.
Le Moyne scored the eventual game-winning run in the sixth inning. After reaching on a two-out single, senior center fielder
Timothy Corapi (Liverpool, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) scored from first on a throwing error by the catcher.
The Dolphins doubled their lead in the eighth inning with three runs on three hits. O'Mara walked with one out and then stole second. After freshman designated hitter
Jeff Wilson (Rochester, N.Y./Greece-Odyssey) singled to right field, Corapi reached on a bunt single to drive in O'Mara. Senior right fielder
Brian Cox (North Kingstown, R.I./North Kingstown) followed with a single through the right side to knock in Wilson. After a walk by junior catcher
Camillo Spinoso (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy/George Washington), Corapi scored as Place reached on a fielder's choice.
The Owls broke through with two unearned runs in the bottom of the eighth. Center fielder Griffin Garabedian walked with one out and moved to second on a passed ball. Following a single through the right side by shortstop Jim Palmer, Garabedian scored as left fielder Nick Lamberti reached on a fielding error by the shortstop. Palmer then scored as first baseman Tyler Criscuolo reached on a fielder's choice.
Murphy won his fourth straight start after striking out six over eight innings, while yielding just the two unearned runs and five hits. The runs snapped Murphy's streak of 26 scoreless innings, which spanned four starts. Spinoso recorded three of Le Moyne's 12 hits, while Place and Corapi each had two. Griffin Bremer suffered his first loss of the season after yielding three runs (two earned) over six-plus innings, while striking out four.
Le Moyne (27-9-1, 13-3-1 NE10, 9-2 SW), which swept the Owls in New Haven for the first time, concludes its non-conference schedule on Tuesday with a doubleheader at Bloomsburg University at 1:00 p.m.
