IUP is the highest ranked team to visit Ted Grant Court since fourth-ranked Bentley University on January 13, 2007 and the first ranked non-conference opponent to visit Ted Grant Court since 20th-ranked Gannon University on February 17, 1993.

Junior guard Tim Leavell (Marion, Ind./Marion/State Fair C.C.) led four Dolphins in double figures with 17 points, including 11 in the second half. Graduate student forward Lonnie Rivera (Spring Valley, N.Y./Don Bosco Prep (N.J.)/American/Wagner) recorded a career-high 16 points, all of which came in the first half. Sophomore guard Nino Hernandez (Gardner, Mass./Winchendon School/Bryant) turned in a career-best 15 points, including 11 in the first half, while adding four rebounds. Malik Miller scored 15 points, including the 1000th of his career on his first basket, while adding seven rebounds.

The Crimson Hawks jumped out to a 12-6 lead through 4:13 with Demogerontas scoring eight of the points.

After Demogerontas hit his third three-pointer of the half to give IUP a 17-11 lead with 13:10 left, the Dolphins rattled off 10 of the next 12 points to take the lead. Hernandez scored five of the points, while Leavell added a three-pointer.

Rivera put the Dolphins up 26-23 with a lay-up with 7:44 to go, but the Crimson Hawks answered with six straight points to regain the lead. Miller made a pair of shots around a basket by Shawndale Jones.

Le Moyne countered with eight straight points and 17 of the next 23 to take its largest lead of the game, 43-35, with 1:29 until halftime. Rivera scored the first eight points and added a three-pointer to cap the jaunt, while Hernandez scored four points and Roland made a shot in the paint.

IUP scored six points around another three-pointer by Rivera to get within 46-41 at halftime.

The Crimson Hawks exploded for the first 17 points of the second half to take the largest lead of the game, 58-46, with 15:21 to play. Foster scored 11 points in the span, while Chucky Humphries, Dave Morris and Miller each made shots in the paint.

Le Moyne answered with 10 of the next 11 points to get back within three. Sophomore forward BB Chuks-Mady (Hamilton, Ontario/GTA Prep) made a pair of shots in the paint, while Roland, Leavell and Hernandez each scored in the run to get the Dolphins within 59-56 with 12:40 left.

Dow/Sunrise Christian Academy/Saginaw Valley State) scored in the paint, Leavell hit back-to-back three-pointers and then senior forward Tom Brown (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) hit a jumper in the paint to give the Dolphins the lead and force and IUP timeout with 6:54 left.

IUP answered with 10 consecutive points over 2:16 to regain control of the contest. Foster had six of the points, while Morris had the other four.

The Dolphins countered with seven straight points to get back within two. Brown made a jumper in the paint, Leavell drilled a three-pointer and then Hernandez made a lay-up with 38 seconds left.

Le Moyne forced an IUP turnover with 22 seconds left and got off a potentially game-tying elbow jumper with 12 seconds left, but it was off the mark and the Crimson Hawks grabbed the rebound. Miller converted two foul shots with 11 seconds left to finish off the game's scoring.
