McKayla Roberts (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) scored a game-high 22 points and broke a pair of single-season program records to lead the Le Moyne College women's basketball team to a 64-58 win over The College of Saint Rose in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Ted Grant Court.
With the victory, the Dolphins tie the program's record for wins in a season with their 21st. The 1994-95 team finished the season at 21-7.
Roberts tallied 13 of her game-high point total in the second half, while posting five assists, three rebounds and two steals. With her fifth assist of the contest, Roberts broke her own program single-season record for assists with her 147th. She set the previous record of 146 as a freshman in 2016-17. She now owns the top three marks in the program's history. With her second of two three-pointers in the game, Roberts broke the program's single-season record for three-pointers with her 69th of the campaign.

Jenna Zimmerman (Adams, N.Y./South Jefferson) both just missed out on a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds each, while Zimmerman added five blocks and three steals and Poitevien had three blocks. Redshirt sophomore guard
Liz Millea (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown) tallied 12 points and four rebounds.
Isa Vara de Rey scored 12 of her 17 points in the second half as the only Golden Knight in double figures.
After the teams split the first four points of the game, Le Moyne rattled off nine consecutive points. Poitevien made a lay-up, Millea hit a jumper, Zimmerman finished off a fast-break pass from Roberts and later fed Millea for a three-pointer with 5:53 left to force a Saint Rose timeout.
Following five points from each team over the ensuing four and one-half minutes, the Golden Knights scored the last six points of the quarter to get within 16-13. Nine Fedullo scored the first four points before Takora McIntyre beat the quarter buzzer with a lay-up.
Saint Rose tied the score three times in the opening six minutes of the second quarter, but was unable to take the lead. After Leah Dollard got the Golden Knights within 26-25 with 2:36 left in the half, the Dolphins scored the final four points to take a 30-25 lead into halftime. After the teams split the first 16 points of the third quarter over the initial four minutes, the Dolphins scored eight of the next 10 points to take their largest lead of the game. Roberts had the first four points, Fouracre made two free throws and then Zimmerman made a lay-up off a pass from Roberts for a 46-35 lead with 1:47 to go.
The Golden Knights answered with an 8-2 run of their own to get back within five at the end of the third quarter, 48-43. Cameron Graupman and Vara de Rey drained three-pointers around two free throws by Fedullo.
Saint Rose used a 4-0 run early in the fourth quarter to get within three (50-47), but could not get any closer as the Dolphins countered with eight straight points for another 11-point lead. Roberts hit her record-breaking three-pointer, Millea made a lay-up, senior guard
Madison Purcell (Clifton Park, N.Y./Catholic Central) made a foul shot and then Poitevien finished off Roberts' record-breaking assist with 4:55 remaining to force a Saint Rose timeout with the Dolphins leading 58-47.
Following four points from each team over the next 2:15, the Golden Knights scored seven of the next eight points to get back within five. Courtney Clasen made a three-pointer and then Vara de Rey made a pair of lay-ups around a free throw by Millea.
Millea finished off the game's scoring with a free throw with 15 seconds left.
Le Moyne (21-4, 15-4 NE10), which improved to 12-1 at home this season, closes out the regular season on Tuesday at the University of New Haven at 5:30 p.m.
