Jenna Zimmerman (Adams, N.Y./South Jefferson) scored 11 points in the third quarter as the Le Moyne College women's basketball team rallied for a 69-58 victory at Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Moore Fieldhouse.
Zimmerman recorded her third double-double of the season with 20 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Redshirt junior guard
Liz Millea (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown) led all scorers in the game with 23 points (her third time in six games with at least 23), including eight in the fourth quarter. Sophomore guard
Erin Fouracre (Loudonville, N.Y./Colonie Central) scored 10 of her 12 points in the second half, while adding five assists and four rebounds. Senior guard
McKayla Roberts (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) dished out a game-high seven assists and grabbed five rebounds. With her third assist of the game, she eclipsed the 600 mark in her career.
Jessica Fressle led the Owls in the loss with 19 points, including 13 in the first half, while adding six rebounds. Imani Wheeler posted 12 points, including eight after halftime, and four assists, while Amani Boston had 11 points.
Le Moyne (16-8, 12-5 NE10), which snapped a five-game losing streak at Southern Connecticut State and won at Moore Fieldhouse for just the third time in 18 meetings as NE10 foes, concludes its regular season road schedule on Wednesday at American International College at 5:30 p.m.
