WASHINGTON'S STEAL AND ASSIST AT SCSU SELECTED AS LE MOYNE COLLEGE PLAY OF THE WEEK PRESENTED BY SODEXO

New Haven, Conn. - The Le Moyne College Play of the Week Presented by Sodexo for the week ending on November 5 occurred during the men's basketball team's 56-55 road win at Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday.

With under four minutes remaining in the second half of Saturday's NE10 battle in New Haven, the Owls of Southern Connecticut State were in the midst of a 5-0 run. After a made three-point field goal by Ulyen Coleman at the 3:40 mark, SCSU trailed just 52-50. In the ensuing Le Moyne possession the Dolphins missed a jump shot and the Owls grabbed the defensive rebound to gain possession with a chance to tie the game.

As the Owls' forward passed the ball to their point guard, Le Moyne's Jeremiah Washington (Chicago, ILL./Bogan/Ferris State) came from behind, stole the ball in the SCSU backcourt, and with his left hand promptly sent a pass to Christian Davis (Denver, Colo./Mullen/New Hampton School) who dunked the ball with his right hand to make it a two-possession game, giving Le Moyne a 54-50 lead with 3:03 left.
