Oceanside, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's tennis team picked up its second win of the season with a 5-2 victory over Adelphi University in Northeast-10 Conference action on Tuesday afternoon at Point Set Indoor Tennis Facility.
The Dolphins took a 1-0 lead on the day by winning the first and second matches in the doubles competition. At the first position, fifth year

Tom Jarry (Paris, France/CNED Toulouse/Emmanuel) registered a 6-3 win over Gabriel Balestero and Valentin Le Goupil-Maier. Seniors
Jared Howard (Malmesbury, South Africa/Homeschooled/ASA College) and
James Howard (Malmesbury, South Africa/Homeschooled/ASA College) clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory at the second spot over Pietro Sole and Salomon Arce Lema.
Le Moyne was victorious in four of the six matches in the singles competition. Balestero even the match at one apiece with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-3) win at the first position over Blythe.
James Howard put the Dolphins in front again by defeating Le Goupil-Maier at the third spot, 6-2, 7-5.
Jared Howard improved to 7-0 as a Dolphin by downing Sole, 7-5, 6-4, at the second position. Sophomore
Kacper Piekarek (Wroclaw, Poland/Autorskrie Licea Artystyczne Akademickie/Missouri-Kansas City) clinched the match for Le Moyne by rallying for a 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 6-0 victory at the fourth spot over Luke Attride-Stirling. Sophomore
Ethan Miller (Swindon, England/Cirencetser Kingshill School) claimed the point at the sixth position over Henrique Souza, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4, while Arce Lema was a 6-4, 6-2 winner at the fifth spot over sophomore
Felipe Cruz (San Jose, Costa Rica/Blue Valley School/Saint Louis).
Le Moyne (2-0, 2-0 NE10) returns to the courts on Saturday against Bentley University at 1:30 p.m. at Nottingham High School.
