Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College women's tennis team registered a 6-1 victory over Saint Anselm College in Northeast-10 Conference action on Sunday afternoon at the Skytop Tennis Courts.

Francesca Lilliegren (Guayaquil, Ecuador/Colegio Alemán Humboldt Guayaquil) blanked Irene Garbo and Olivia Parzick. Sophomore
Isabella Barona (Manta, Ecuador/Talentos de Manta) and junior
Fiona Pepper (Challapampa, Peru/Colegio Anglo Americano Prescott) picked up their second win as a duo with a 6-0 victory over Anastasia Kapothanasis and Matilda Briegel at the second spot. Freshmen
Alicia Alvarez (Madrid, Spain/IES Ortega y Gasset) and
Paula Casares (A Coruna, Spain/Colegio Maristas Cristo Rey) improved to 5-0 in NE10 play with a 6-3 win at the third position over Camila Heredia Osante and Abigail Svor.
In the singles competition, Simeonova collected her fourth NE10 victory, 6-2, 6-1, at the second position over Kapothanasis. Alvarez tallied her fifth conference win by blanking Parzick at the third spot, 6-0, 6-0. Lilliegren recorded her third straight victory, 6-2, 6-1, over Briegel at the fourth position. Pepper registered her fourth consecutive win by downing Heredia Osante at the fifth spot, 6-1, 6-0. Sophomore
Brooke Tutor (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) improved to 4-0 on the year with back-to-back scores of 6-1 against Svor at the sixth position. Garbo earned the point for the Hawks with consecutive scores of 6-3 over Barona at the first spot.
Le Moyne (5-3, 4-2 NE10) concludes its four-match homestand on Tuesday against Binghamton University at 3:00 p.m. at the Skytop Tennis Courts.
