Rochester, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's swimming and diving teams registered a sweep of Roberts Wesleyan University on Saturday at the Voller Athletic Center. The men won 190-78 and the women were 165.5-103.5 winners.
The quartet of redshirt sophomores
MaryLauren Burke (Hopkinton, Mass./Hopkinton),
Logan Fetterman (Binghamton, N.Y./Chenango Valley) and
Jessica Testone (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) and senior
Madison Zapisek (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) won the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay in a pool-record time of 1:53.55.
Zapisek picked up the first individual win of the day with a time of 11:39.61 in the 1000-yard freestyle.
Redshirt sophomore
Grace Thomas (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) recorded a pool-record time of 1:02.43 to win the 100-yard backstroke by over two seconds.
Sophomore
Brenna Horan (Bayport, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point/SUNY Geneseo) topped the field in the 100-yard breaststroke by over four seconds with a time of 1:14.85. She won the final individual event of the afternoon, the 400-yard IM, by almost 30 seconds with a pool-record mark of 5:00.55.
Senior
Genevieve Kikukawa (Kalaupapa, Hawaii/University Laboratory School) claimed the 50-yard freestyle by 2.38 seconds with a mark of 25.65 seconds.
Burke registered a first-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke by over a second with a pool-record time of 2:20.70.
Freshman
Quinn Edholm (Buffalo, N.Y./Sweet Home) picked up the win in the 500-yard freestyle by just 0.05 seconds with a mark of 6:01.18.
Zapisek and Horan teamed with senior
Caitlyn Longway (Sauquoit, N.Y./Sauquoit Valley) and sophomore
Hannah Kellogg (Cazenovia, N.Y./Chittenango) to win the 800-yard freestyle relay by over 32 seconds with a time of 8:35.28.

Ajay Hicks (Oneida, N.Y./Oneida) and freshman
Keegan Stafford (Charlton, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) registered a pool-record time of 1:40.39 to win the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay by over 12 seconds.
Sophomore
Belal Aly (Syracuse, N.Y./PSAL at Fowler) captured the 1000-yard freestyle by 29 seconds with a mark of 10:53.52. He later won the 100-yard backstroke by almost eight seconds with a time of 57.28 seconds.
Morris collected the victory in the 200-yard freestyle by touching the wall in 1:50.70.
Redshirt sophomore
Ryan McMahon (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) swept the two breaststroke events. He won the 100-yard breaststroke by over one and one-half seconds with a time of 1:03.00. He captured the 200-yard breaststroke by almost five seconds in 2:21.45.
Stafford was victorious in the 200-yard butterfly by over 25 seconds with a mark of 2:09.02. He later won the 500-yard freestyle by over 34 seconds with a time of 5:02.10.
Hicks claimed the 50-yard freestyle by six-tenths of a second by posting a time of 23.25 seconds.
Sophomore
Justin Byrne (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) won the one-meter diving event with a pool-record score of 413.55.
Redshirt sophomore
Logan Bronecki (Hemlock, N.Y./Livonia) captured the 100-yard freestyle by over three seconds with a time of 50.36 seconds.
Fratto tallied a first-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke by over 15 seconds with a mark of 2:08.05.
Sophomore
Jason Badalato (Watertown, N.Y./Carthage) claimed the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 56.86 seconds.
Freshman
Xavier Silaika (Rexford, N.Y./Shenendehowa) was victorious in the 400-yard IM by almost 19 seconds by recording a time of 4:38.93.
Aly, Stafford, Morris and Silaika closed out the meet by winning the 800-yard freestyle relay by over 20 seconds with a time of 7:44.04.
The Dolphins are back in action on Friday at the Rev. Vincent B. Ryan, S.J. Pool against Ithaca College at 5:00 p.m.
