MEN'S BASKETBALL HOSTS AIC ON TUESDAY

Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's basketball team will try to earn their second consecutive conference home game on Tuesday night when they host American International College for a 7:30 p.m. matchup on Ted Grant Court.

The Le Moyne women's basketball team will also take on AIC at home on Tuesday. The women's NE10 battle between the Dolphins and the Yellow Jackets will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The Le Moyne men are currently 3-1 in NE10 play, while AIC travels to Syracuse with a 2-1 record against conference opponents.

The Dolphins are coming off an impressive 79-58 NE10 win at home over the College of Saint Rose on Saturday

Graduate guard Isaiah Salter (Charlotte, N.C./Central Cabarrus/American International/Adelphi) provided a game-high 16 points, including four made three-point field goals, along with six rebounds, four assists and three steals during the Le Moyne victory.

Salter played a team-high 36 minutes against the Golden Knights after playing a team-high 35 minutes during Le Moyne's 68-63 loss at Franklin Pierce on November 30. Salter tallied a team-high 18 points and three assists against the Ravens. The graduate guard previously set a season-high of 20 points during Le Moyne's win at Adelphi on November 22. On a team-high 48 three-point field goal attempts so far this season, Salter is shooting 42% from deep.

Junior forward Luke Sutherland (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee/Siena/Bryant) is leading the Dolphins in scoring and rebounding with averages of 13.8 points and 5.2 boards through the first nine games of the season.

Graduate guard Mike DePersia (Cherry Hill, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial/IUPUI) currently averages the second most steals per game among all players in the Northeast-10 Conference with 2.3.

DePersia also contributes 7.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game to the Le Moyne cause.

The Dolphins are currently forcing their opponents into 18.8 turnovers per game, which is the highest total in the NE10.

Sophomore guard Zy'Ever Wingfield (Richmond, Va./Henrico/Fork Union Military Academy) is averaging 9.9 points per game on 55% shooting from the field, along with 4.0 rebounds per contest.

6'9" redshirt-sophomore forward Isaiah Elmore (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Catholic) scored a season-high 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds along with three blocks and two assists during the win over Saint Rose.

Freshman guard Trent Mosquera (Brookline, Mass./Belmont Hill School) established season-highs in a handful of statistical categories on Saturday against the Golden Knights. In 20 minutes played off the bench, Mosquera tallied nine points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.

American International is coming off a 59-58 conference road win at Saint Michael's on Saturday.

Freshman guard Jack Hall leads the Yellow Jackets in scoring at 13.0 points per game, while sophomore guard/forward Justice Ellison and junior guard/forward Jalen Jordan average 12.4 and 11.3 points per game, respectively. Ellison and Jordan both currently average 5.3 rebounds per contest.

Le Moyne has won each of the last five meetings between the two men's basketball programs. The last AIC win over Le Moyne came on November 14, 2018 when the Yellow Jackets claimed a win on their home floor over the Dolphins.
