Schenectady, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's tennis team ran its win streak to six with a 7-0 victory over Union College on Sunday afternoon at Sportime Tennis Club.
The Dolphins swept the doubles competition for the second time this year. Fifth year
Tom Jarry (Paris, France/CNED Toulouse/Emmanuel) and junior
Ethan Miller (Swindon, England/Cirencetser Kingshill School) recorded an 8-1 win at the first position over Ben Jacobs and Aidan O'Brien. Graduate student
Manuel Righi (Bologna, Italy/IPC Manfredi - ITC Tanari/Concordia (N.Y.)/Universita di Bologna) and freshman
Peter Hatton (Syracuse, N.Y./Jamesville-DeWitt/Club Med Academics/Army West Point) defeated Ioannis Binopoulos and Dimitris Binopoulos, 8-1, at the second spot. Fifth year
Jared Howard (Malmesbury, South Africa/Homeschooled/ASA College) and junior
Erik Adler (Lima, Peru/Santa Maria College) were 8-5 winners at the third position over Cameron Klepper and Bailey McAtee.
Le Moyne swept the singles competition by winning all six matches in straight sets.
Jared Howard picked up his first win of the year at the first position, 6-0, 6-1, over Ioannis Binopoulos. Hatton extended his record as a Dolphin to 5-0 by downing Jacobs at the second spot, 6-0, 6-3. Junior
Kacper Piekarek (Wroclaw, Poland/Autorskrie Licea Artystyczne Akademickie/Missouri-Kansas City) won at his third different spot this year, 6-3, 6-0, over O'Brien at the third position. Miller defeated Dimitris Binopoulos with back-to-back scores of 6-2 at the fourth spot. Fifth year

Xavier Branagan (Wollstonecraft, Australia/St. Aloysius' College) completed the sweep with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Thomas McGuire at the sixth spot.
Le Moyne (6-1) is back on the courts on Friday at 6:30 at Elevate Fitness against the University of the District of Columbia.
