FIFTH-RANKED WOMEN’S LACROSSE REGISTERS 20-3 VICTORY AT SAINT MICHAEL’S

Colchester, Vt. – Junior attacker Gemma Addonizio (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) posted a career-high six points to lead the fifth-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 20-3 victory over Saint Michael's College on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Duffy Field.

"Fantastic team win for the 'Phins today!," said head coach Liz Beville.

The Dolphins jumped out to a 7-0 lead through the first eight and one-half minutes. Senior attacker Jessica Meneilly (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) started the scoring just 48 seconds into the game off a pass from graduate student attacker Erin McMullen (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill). With the assist, McMullen tied Kylie Rosette '08 for sixth on the program's career assists list with her 79th. Addonizio followed two minutes later with her 11th goal of the season. McMullen pushed it to 3-0 at the 10:25 mark after taking a feed from Addonizio. Senior midfielder Adrianna Nojaim (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) converted a free-position shot 34 seconds later for her 15th goal of the campaign. Addonizio then scored off a free-position shot of her own with 8:53 remaining in the first quarter. Just 34 seconds later, redshirt junior midfielder Katelyn Karleski (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Onondaga C.C.) tallied her sixth goal of the year. Freshman Reagan McQuade (Endwell, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) capped the game-opening streak with a free-position goal for her first career tally.
