Syracuse, N.Y. – Four members of the Le Moyne College softball team have earned Northeast-10 All-Conference recognition for their outstanding play on the diamond this spring.

Senior catcher Cassidy Barrett (Apalachin, N.Y./Vestal) was named a First Team selection for the 'Phins. First year player Alyssa Dybacz (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) made the Second Team All-Conference squad in the designated player spot, and she also was selected to the All-Rookie Team following an outstanding freshman season on The Heights.

Redshirt-sophomore Laura Bennett (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) was also a Second Team All-Conference selection. The right-handed pitcher was one of the most dominant strikeout artists in the NE10 this season. Bennett's 124 strikeouts during NE10 battles was the second highest total among all pitchers in the conference, and she established a 1.77 ERA against conference opponents during NE10 play. Bennett earned 13 pitching decision victories on the season for Le Moyne, including six complete-game shutouts.

Le Moyne's speedy leadoff hitter and center fielder, junior Isabelle Boudreau (Memramcook, New Brunswick/Mathieu-Martin/Pace) was named to the NE10 Third Team All-Conference squad following her first campaign as a Dolphin.

In her first season on The Heights, Boudreau started all 42 games in center field for the 'Phins, batting at the top of the lineup. Boudreau was an ideal leadoff hitter for Le Moyne; she is a tremendous bunter, and she has great speed. Boudreau's long strides and violent running motion allowed her to steal 11 bases during NE10 play, which was the second most in the conference. Boudreau finished the 2022 season with 30 runs scored, 44 hits and 16 stolen bases.

Barrett also started all 42 games for Le Moyne this season, including an impressive 36 starts behind the plate. As Le Moyne's primary catcher, Barrett would routinely crouch behind the plate for 14 combined innings as Le Moyne battled through a doubleheader. The senior was great defensively for Le Moyne, rarely allowing a passed ball, and she was crucial in the heart of the 'Phins lineup.

As the three-hitter, Barrett led Le Moyne in hits with 50, and she drove in 19 runs. In 127 at-bats on the season, Barrett struck out just nine times, and collected 16 free bases.  Barrett was top five in the conference for both overall batting average and batting average against NE10 opponents, and her 32 hits during conference play was among the highest totals in the NE10.

Dybacz also struck out just nine times in over 115 at-bats this season during her first collegiate campaign. After a couple weeks into the season, the first-year player made it obvious that she needed to be in the lineup every game for the 'Phins. Dybacz batted in the cleanup spot for Le Moyne for most of the year and proved to be an extremely dangerous hitter with a bright future on The Heights. Dybacz led the team in RBI with 23, she recorded a team-best .525 slugging percentage on the year, and she recorded 26 hits (including five doubles, a triple, and a home run) in 26 starts during NE10 play.

Great news for Le Moyne fans – All four players have the ability to return next season, and compete again with the 'Phins!
