Syracuse, N.Y. – Women's soccer goalkeeper Allison Moreau's PK save against Daemen on Tuesday, which kept the match scoreless and was essential in helping the Dolphins leave Western New York with a 0-0 draw during an early season non-conference match, has been selected as the Le Moyne College Play of the Week, Presented by Sodexo.

Tuesday's game on Karrer Field was played in a consistent downpour, making the playing field muddy and slick.

The Daemen Wildcats put nine shots on goal during the game, and Moreau recorded a save each time to maintain a clean sheet.

In the 52^nd minute the Wildcats were given a penalty kick following contact in the box on a breakaway attempt that Moreau came off her line to contest.

Grace Stranahan was tasked with taking the PK for the Wildcats, and she sent a shot low to the bottom left corner of the net. Moreau read the kick perfectly, quickly dove to her right, got both hands on the ball and made the save without giving up a rebound attempt.

Moreau made four more saves following the PK save to keep the game scoreless and help the Dolphins earn a draw.

The Le Moyne College women's soccer team will play their first NE10 Conference contest of the season on Saturday, September 10 at home against Southern New Hampshire University at 12:00 p.m.
