Syracuse, N.Y. – Southern Connecticut State University registered a sweep of the Le Moyne College men's and women's swimming and diving teams on Thursday afternoon at the Rev. Vincent B. Ryan, S.J. Pool. The women won 159-128 and the men were 150-135 winners.

Sommo earned first-place points in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.94.

Brenna Horan (Bayport, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point/SUNY Geneseo) collected first-place points in the 200-yard IM with a mark of 2:23.46.

Justin Byrne (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) earned the men's team's first win of the day in the first one-meter diving event with a score of 181.75. He later tallied 289.45 points to win the second one-meter diving event.

Ryan McMahon (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) claimed the 200-yard breaststroke by over four seconds with a time of 2:19.96.

Jason Badalato (Watertown, N.Y./Carthage) picked up first-place points in the 100-yard butterfly by touching the wall in 56.06 seconds.

Sam Crimmins (Johnson City, N.Y./Johnson City) posted a time of 2:21.48 in the 200-yard IM to earn first-place points.
