Syracuse, NY – The Le Moyne College volleyball hosted Central Connecticut State University on Friday afternoon at Ted Grant Court. The Blue Devils won the match 3-0, with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-12.
For the Dolphins, sophomore middle hitter
Kayla Anstett (Rochester, N.Y. / Hilton) registered eleven kills, freshman opposite/outside hitter
Branwyn Lupton (Napanee, Ontario / Napanee District Secondary School) had seven kills, and junior outside hitter
Emily La Ruffa (Rock Hill, N.Y. / Monticello) had five kills. Sophomore setter
Haley Gerken (Buffalo, N.Y. / Frontier) guided the offense with 28 assists. Senior outside hitter
Madison Dembroski (Plattekill, N.Y. / Wallkill) had 13 digs, freshman libero/DS
Haley Buescher (Toledo, Ohio / St. Ursula Academy) had nine digs, and Junior libero/DS
Ella Katz (Burnt Hills, N.Y. / Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake) had six digs.
For the Blue Devils, Weronika Poczynek had 13 kills, Isabella Bratzke had six kills, and Lauren Milani had four kills. Kylee Baranski had 18 assists, Madison Massaro-Cook had seven assists, and Larissa Hiemer had five assists. Margaret Nolan had 10 digs, Milani had seven digs, and Baranski had six digs.
